Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney will be held 24-26 August 2012 and will see 550 teams walk 100km from the Hawkesbury to the Harbour. But you don’t need to be a marathon runner or a professional athlete to do it! Whether you’re old friends, a group of mums, running buddies or work mates, with training and the right mental attitude just about anyone can be a Trailwalker. Check out all of our resources to help you get prepared!
Each team must commit to raising at least $1,000 to support Oxfam’s work around the world, including Indigenous Australia. Fundraising can be challenging, but it’s also great fun! Find out all you need to know about fundraising.

ABOUT THE TRAIL
Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney will be held in the bushland of northern Sydney, starting at Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River and finishing at Mosman on Sydney Harbour.
The Sydney trail features the well-known Great North Walk and the Harbour to Hawkesbury Walking Track. Throughout the 100km, teams will tackle interesting and challenging terrain, featuring single track sections, hills and rocky trails. The Sydney trail is known for its beautiful scenery, which participants will enjoy as they pass along cliff tops, waterways and beaches.
