By raising funds for Oxfam Trailwalker you’re helping to fight poverty and injustice around the world. You also have the chance to win some great rewards and prizes!

At our Awards Night we’ll be giving out a number of fundraising rewards and team performance awards, described below. We’ll also award a team that has truly embodied ‘team spirit’ and acknowledge a participant who has overcome adversity to take part in the event. Fundraising rewards

Cathay Pacific Prize – win a trip to Hong Kong!

Teams that raise more than $5,000 by the fundraising deadline automatically go into the draw to win return airfares to Hong Kong for each team member, as well as a team place in Oxfam Trailwalker Hong Kong – the toughest Oxfam Trailwalker in the world!

This prize is generously donated by Cathay Pacific.

State Street Corporate Fundraising Challenge

Supported by our Global Sponsor State Street, the State Street Corporate Fundraising Challenge is the trophy awarded to the organisation whose teams have collectively fundraised the highest amount on behalf of Oxfam Australia.

Highest Fundraising Awards

At the Oxfam Trailwalker Sydney Awards Night we will acknowledge the extraordinary achievements of the highest fundraising teams and award prizes in the following categories:

  • Overall Highest Fundraising Team
  • Overall Second Highest Fundraising Team
  • Overall Third Highest Fundraising Team

Trophies will also be awarded to the leading fundraising teams in each of the industry and general categories. You can have a look at the current rank of the teams in each category on the fundraising category leaderboards.

Team performance awards

Paddy Pallin All-Rounder Award

As the name suggests, the Paddy Pallin All-Rounder Award will go to the team that ranks highest across the combined fields of fundraising and finishing place.

The top ten teams in the All-Rounder Award category will be announced at the Sydney Awards Night. Each member of the winning team will be awarded with a voucher to spend at a Paddy Pallin store.

Fastest Event Time Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the fastest team of four in the following categories:

  • Winning Team
  • Second Team
  • Third Team
  • First All Female Team
  • First All Male Team
  • First Mixed Team
  • First Over 40s Team
  • First Over 50s Team
  • First Over 60s Team

Please note that only complete teams of four are eligible for the time based category prizes.

Support Crew Award

Support crews are the unsung heroes of Oxfam Trailwalker. After the event, we will ask teams to tell us why their support crew deserves to be recognised with this award and one support crew will be awarded for their efforts. Show them that you appreciate their support and nominate them for this award.
