Raise $600 for a chance to win a holiday in the whitsundays
1. This promotion is open to all 2024 Oxfam Trailwalker Melbourne participants who are a resident in Australia and who raise $600 or more on their Oxfam Trailwalker fundraising page before 11.59pm (AEST) 23 February 2024.
2. Every participant who raises $600 or more for 2024 Oxfam Trailwalker before the above dates will receive an entry into the draw to win four nights accommodation at the Sapphire Villa, Yangaro, for six people.
3. Oxfam Australia employees and related parties of Oxfam Australia are ineligible to enter.
4. The winner will be determined by a random draw of valid competition entrants.
5. This draw will be publicised via email and social media.
6. This competition period commences 8.00 am (AEST) 16 October 2023 and 11.59pm (AEST) at the above dates.
7. This draw will take place at approximately 5 days after the closing date, located at Oxfam Australia, 355 William Street, West Melbourne or its registered premises.
8. Oxfam Australia does not take any responsibility for any technological issues that prevent a donation being processed in time or that cause a disparity between the time the donation is recorded on the 2024 Oxfam Trailwalker system and the time shown on your donation confirmation. In order to avoid any disappointment, please submit all online donations in good time to ensure that they are processed before the cut-off.
9. Prize Details: There is one (1) prize to be won:
- Four nights accommodation at the Sapphire Villa, Yangaro, for six people
- $1,500 Flight Voucher
- Villa welcomes guests of 10 years of age and above.
- Total prize value is $11,308
- This prize is available for one Melbourne Participant
- Booking subject to availability during off-peak season and payment of refundable damage bond of $2,000
10. Oxfam Australia shall notify the winners approximately 5 days after the competition closingn date, via email or telephone. 2024 Oxfam Trailwalker may publish the names of each winner on https://trailwalker.oxfam.org.au and/or on our social media accounts.
11. If the prize is not claimed in writing within two weeks of being notified the prize may be forfeited and Oxfam Australia may award prize to another entrant, drawn randomly in the same manner as set out in clause 4.
12. Oxfam Australia reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
13. The prize is not redeemable for cash or other products and is not transferable. The prize can only be claimed by verbal or written acceptance by the winner.
14. Oxfam Australia reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes if necessary due to unavailability of the notified prizes.
15. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, then subject to any compulsory law to the contrary, Oxfam Australia reserves the right to cancel the competition.
